Usually I end these Monday newsletters with a picture of Merlin, next door’s cat who basically runs the neighbourhood. Sadly she’s very old and is now almost completely blind and deaf, so she’s not out and about as much as she used to be (also it’s freezing cold). Hopefully in the spring she’ll be able to wander around a bit more and I can say hi and take some more photos.
But until then, the coveted ‘Goodbye From’ slot will be filled by a succession of guest stars, starting with my sister’s cat Maru who has recently moved from Scotland to Denmark to live with them. He seems to be settling in well:
